Aortic valve stenosis Treatments

Aortic valve stenosis:

Aortic valve stenosis is a narrowing of the cardiac valve at the exit of the left ventricle to the aorta, from where the blood passes through the body.

This stenosis causes an increase in the heart muscle that tries to run the blood through the narrow valve.

This action causes high pressure in the left ventricle leading to enlargement, and progression of the disease which can lead without treatment to death.

Treatment options :

  • Treatment of aortic valve stenosis with valve replacement.
  • Diagnosis of aortic valve stenosis.
