What Is A Stem Cell Therapy?

Stem cell therapy:
The uses of stem cells to prevent a diseases or conditions.
They are derived from the bone marrow mainly and also from the umbilical cord.

The example of the stem cell:
Inside our bone marrow stem cells are busy to make 100,000 million new blood cells we needed every single day.
Some specialized cells as blood or muscle cells are unable to make copies of themselves through cell division, so they are renewed from populations of stem cells.

Stem cells are essential for the maintenance of tissues as blood, skin, and gut because they have the ability to produce both copies of themselves (self-renewal) and other more specialized cell types (differentiation) as muscle cells needed to build up new ones instead of the damaged during physical exertion.
